About the Item
A set of six French Art Deco gondola chairs, finished in deep black high-gloss lacquer and featuring a striking back panel veneered in Macassar. The curved armrests form a continuous, flowing gondola silhouette that gently encloses the seat and defines the characteristic shape of this model.
The tapered back panel in polished Macassar highlights the luxurious wood combinations typical of late 1930s French Art Deco. The front legs are subtly faceted and feature stepped, column-like details at the top, lending the chairs a refined architectural expression without overwhelming the design.
All seats have been newly upholstered in a light, Art Deco-inspired fabric. Re-upholstery in a customer-selected material is available on request. With their balanced proportions and sculptural lines, these chairs suit dining rooms, meeting spaces, or sophisticated hospitality interiors.
