About the Item
A collection of six quality dining chairs attributed to Aufrey or Yale Burge, including two arm chairs and four side chairs. . The chairs feature elegant French Provincial forms in intentionally distressed cream finished beechwood, sporting foliate carved relief with elegant flourishes extending along serpentine aprons and cabriole legs. The chairs are upholstered in pale blue damask silk with sophisticated floral designs.
Dimensions:
2 arm chairs: 41 3/4” H x 23” L x 18 1/2” D, 18 1/2” Seat height
4 side chairs: 41 1/2” H x 19 1/2” L x 17 1/2” D, 18 1/2” Seat height
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age and use include scattered stains and fabric wear to the upholstery and recovering may be desired and although the finish is intentionally distressed there are sporadic paint losses, nicks and wear all mentioned for accuracy as the presentation remains exceptional.
