These are a very important and substantial set of chairs, they were restored a short while ago which included having all the frames checked and secured, the leather upholstery was replaced for this Heritage tan brown hide, Heritage leather is very special, it is designed to look 100 years old from new, it picks up small marks here and there and if you want them to go, you simply wax and polish it, I have left what little patina in I can see as it adds to the antique look and feel
These are original Regency examples, they have the period flamed mahogany frames which terminate with Sabre legs, you may have seen this design over the years, this is where it originates from
Condition wise, the timber has been cleaned waxed and polished, the leather lightly cleaned, they retain all the age and charm and honestly look sublime

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
