About the Item

Currently, the most coveted dining chairs by interior designers are 'Tucroma' chairs by Guido Faleschini for i4 Mariani, and we have this incredible special edition Tucroma armchair in smooth black leather with textured white frame completed as a special edition of the Tucroma chair during it's 50th Year Anniversary of the design. This special frame finish has not been previously offered, limited quantities available, contact us to place an order if you are looking to purchase more than the 1 sample we have in stock. The seats and backs have supple matching smooth black leather upholstery and are attached to sporty textured white steel tubular frames, as well as being bridged together by wide leather straps at the back with hand-tied detail. Signed with Mariani label. This chair is brand new, only used for photographing it for this listing. The leather option selected for this set was an upgraded full grain Italian leather and is much thicker and higher quality than vintage examples. This chair is available for immediate shipping. If you need more than one we can order additional chairs for you, contact us for lead times. If you are interested in custom leather, fabric and frame colors contact for more details. i4 Mariani was a specialty Italian design division of the Pace Collection and Guido Faleschini was the star designer who created famous designs such as the Tucroma line and a line of bedroom furniture for Hermès. Mariani still produces the Tucroma chair to the same specifications as the 1970s along with a full line of high quality designs with expert Italian craftsmanship. We carry a large selection of designs by i4 Mariani and Guido Faleschini, contact us if you are looking for anything else. This is an interior design magazine cover worthy set of chairs and would look so amazing with a marble or travertine dining table, such as designs by Angelo Mangiarotti and Roche Bobois or lacquered goatskin tables by Karl Springer and Steve Chase. This sleek set of dining / arm / side chairs by Guido Faleschini for Mariani would inject some 1970s Italian modern into any interior and would compliment various locations such as a Mid-Century Modern, Contemporary, Postmodern, neoclassical, or Transitional dining room, living room, den, games room, office space, entryway or bedroom. Consider using as a throne chair, lounge chair, side chair, occasional chair, consider even for a dressing room or large walk in closet. Would be great as a reading armchair or chair to soak in a view. It would also be perfect in a hospitality or corporate location, such as; a boutique hotel lobby, cocktail bar, members club, workspace studio, executive office, or in a luxe clothing emporium. Consider pairing with items from Leon Rosen for Pace, Charles Hollis Jones, Vladimir Kagan or Pierre Paulin. Also can work great with a Willy Rizzo, Maison Jansen or Aldo Tura dining / breakfast / cafe / game table.
