We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning set of four circa 1900 walnut Queen Anne dining chairs with black crushed velvet velour upholstery A very good looking and decorative set of chairs, highly carved with ornate detail, hand painted in places with nice ageing. Each chair is stamped to the base 2 292 to the left, 915 in the middle and 29 to the right, most likely they are a craftsman order code that has been stamped into the timber to make sure they go to the right client In terms of the condition the chairs have been cleaned waxed and polished, they operate perfectly and are structurally sound, they will have some age related timber shrinkage along the join lines and so on Dimensions: Height 102cm Width 55.5cm Depth 55.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
