Beautifully hand-carved from solid oak, each chair features an elegant chapeau de gendarme backrest and traditional hand-carved os de mouton legs. The set has been structurally restored for lasting stability and gently refinished to bring out a warm mid-brown tone that highlights the natural grain and depth of the aged wood. Newly upholstered in a refined off-white and coral striped woven fabric, the chairs are clean-finished with single piping in the coral stripe, subtly outlining the graceful curves of the backrest.
