About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this handmade original Victorian spoon or medallion back dining chair with original upholstery A good looking well made and decorative chair. The frame is sublime, ornately carved and handmade. The upholstery is period original, heavily distressed and worn We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, the frame has been checked and secured, it is 100% solid and sturdy. The upholstery as mentioned is the original 150+ year old fabric, they could do with being reupholstered as it is heavily worn Dimensions: Height 91.5cm Width 44cm Depth 60.5cm This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
