Charming 19th century French walnut footstool featuring an elongated oval form supported by six fluted legs. Made in the grand Louis XVI taste with neoclassical carved rosettes on the legs. Newly upholstered with a neutral toned linen fabric having patinated brass tack nail head borders. Beautifully aged patina on the walnut finish with solid joinery. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
