About the Item
When pure geometry meets soft curves, something sculptural and sensual comes out. A fine dialogue between oversized legs and clean lines takes place in this piece upholstered in mohair velvet. Marlon is edgy and elegant at the same time, letting the dilemma between ‘contemporary’ versus ‘classical’ fall apart.
Here it is presented in a Rich Kvadrat in Blue.
Other colors available.
Made to order.

Irreverent and Emotionally impactful, Franceschini's furniture reflects his desire to combine playful energy within sophisticated, timeless elements. A resolutely twenty-first-century designer, he imbues his work with questions about reality, functionality and digital illusion.
He was educated in Italy, Portugal and United States. After receiving his B.Arch cum laude from Università degli Studi di Firenze and his M.S.Arch with 1st class honour from Pratt Institute, he collaborated among others with Leeser Architecture in Brooklyn, Claudio Nardi in Florence, Laisné Roussel in Paris and Carlo Ratti Associati in New York. dooq
Born in Portugal, Dooq is a design company dedicated to celebrate the luxury of living. Creating designs that stimulate the senses, whose conceptual approach is inspired on the unexpected meeting of opposites.
Our studio focuses on an extensive research of details together with a vast iconographic research around art and design, creating an ever-evolving language that emphasizes first the small details.
We seek to find balance in contrasts, creating pieces where feminine meets masculine, small meets large, soft meets solid and past meets the present allowing the new to blossom.
Sensual materials like velvet, trimmings, straw and glass are combined with harder materials such as copper, marble, brass and wood to achieve the duality in our studio's distinctive pieces.
Using the technological expertise of a country leader in craftsmanship in combination with the creativity of great designers, helps creating pieces with an uncensored aesthetic where each piece has its own reason of existing.
Dooq is pursuing elegance with audacity and devotion, crossing the boundaries between art and design.
