About the Item
A beautifully proportioned, 19th century Louis XVI-style French footstool. The pillowy quatrefoil shape bows out on the sides to make for an comfortable vanity bench or even as an occasional table when paired with a tray for entertaining. A botanical-theme cut velvet upholstery of blue-grey and ochre featuring garden urns of abundant flowers is outlined in a nailhead trim and sits atop a carved apron with floret dies at the four corners. The whole is raised on fluted, tapering legs painted a creamy-beige with gold gilt accents. Please view the detailed images to see more.
