About the Item
Pair of French Louis XVI Style Carved Footstools. Footstools feature wonderfully aged painted and gilt frames. Each stool displays classic Louis XVI detailing such as fluted tapered legs, carved rosettes at he corners, and a raised beaded apron with ribbon-like carvings. The tops are upholstered in a lively, floral pattern in colors of pink, green, blue, and yellow on a cream background. Tops are secured with antique brass nailhead trim which makes an elegant contrast that adds freshness to the traditional carved bases. In modern interiors, these stools add refined charm to a wide variety of spaces.
