About the Item

Pair of mid 19th century Scandinavian stools circa 1840. At the time of listing we have 2 pairs of identical stools, very much in the empire taste. Curule like shaped scrolled legs, traditionally upholstered seats are covered in an old calico and ready to be re-covered.  These seats seat on a roll top support on the frame and allows you to see underneath. Stained in a dark brown to look like mahogany. Minor surface marks to woodwork, in line with age and use.  Ready for everyday.
