1950’s Jaroslav Smidek Original Re-Upholstered Armchairs – Pair In Teal Blue
1950’s Jaroslav Smidek Original Re-Upholstered Armchairs – Pair In Teal Blue. Sourced direct in the Czech republic this is one of Smidek’s most elegant designs. We carefully select very original armchairs ensuring the frames are in excellent original condition and then reupholster them. The frame is beech throughout and the arms have been cleaned and waxed but retain their original patina. The upholstery is a new cotton velvet which has been reupholstered by us. Seat Height 36cm.
WORKSHOP REPORT
Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
