About the Item
This elegant Georgian style trio is English made, done in a rich mahogany with beautiful curves in the design of the arms and back. The settee is covered in what appears to be the original velvet placed on the piece at its creation in the late 1800’s. The seat wear reflects time passed where many had perhaps utilized this gorgeous set for visiting or afternoon tea. The back still retains its lustrous value, found in antique velvet fabric.
The chair and rocker are of the same framework, with curves matching the settee. Each of the chairs are covered in a complementary blue and white jacquard weave that accents the settee. All three pieces are very sturdy. The lines of these pieces are very unique and place them into a category of antique with a flair of classic contemporary lines in the framework.
