About the Item

A very fine French 19th century Louis XVI style hand grey painted and carved five-piece salon suite, comprising of a canapé, two fauteuils and two chairs, all reupholstered in floral fabric in excellent condition as well and of high quality. The finely carved frames with panelled back, padded arm supports and seats, with ribbon tied flower-head cresting and leaf tipped borders. Paris, circa 1860-1870.
