About the Designer
Marcel Kammerer (1878, Vienna – 1959, Montreal) was a prominent Viennese architect, designer, and painter. A student of the Wagnerschule, he worked closely with Otto Wagner from 1902 to 1910 as chief draughtsman, contributing to landmark projects such as the Austrian Postal Savings Bank and Steinhof Church.
