About the Item
Beautiful and complete De Sede DS-47 seating group from Switzerland, 1970s. The set includes two lounge chairs, two three-seater sofas, and a pouf, all made in thick buffalo neck leather.
The DS-47 model takes us back to the early days of De Sede, where the story goes that a leather hyde was once thrown over a lump of hay. From that simple gesture, the idea for this sofa was born. Each piece shows the unmistakable character of De Sede craftsmanship, made from the finest buffalo neck hides with a rich, natural grain and without visible blemishes.
One of the defining features of the DS-47 is its seamless design, crafted without visible stitching seams. The model also features an extendable seat, offering additional depth and comfort.
The leather has developed, natural patina over time, giving warmth and character to the set. A rare opportunity to acquire a complete DS-47 seating group a timeless example of Swiss craftsmanship and 1970s design.
