“Down” sofa set by Carlo Bartoli for Rossi di Albizzate, 1970s Italy. Part of the Down series this set consists of one 3-seater, one 2-seater and a coffee table. Satin black lacquered wood and reupholstered in a beautiful dark blue Mohair wool. As the coffee table is as wide as the sofa it can also be placed on the side of a sofa. Bold 70s Italian design thats striking to look at and has a comfortable seat. Some touch ups on the frame. In very good vintage condion.

Carlo Bartoli
Carlo Bartoli, born in Milan in 1931, is an Italian architect and designer. He created many successful works, such as the Gaia armchair, included in the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Design Museum of the Milan Triennale. Bartoli was awarded the ADI Compasso d'Oro for Lifetime Achievement.
