About the Item
Excellent quality Mid-Century Modern bamboo and rattan lounge set of Italian design. The oversized lounge chairs and matching two-seat sofa feature the traditional four strand bentwood frames but in a unique spiraling arm design that also frame a circular bamboo decorative panel. In addition, the backs of the frames feature an intricate fan design.
Perhaps the most exciting detail of this set is the reversible seat cushions. There are four interchangeable seats and four interchangeable backs. They are all in great original condition being very solid and sturdy. One side features a woven rattan in a diamond pattern while the other is covered in blue leather with tufted back cushions.
On the rattan side, one seat cushion has a small area where the rattan is no longer pulled completely flush. It is not generally visible and looks repairable as seen in photo.
On the blue leather side, there are two missing buttons and two seat punctures. Again, it is possible to repair.
The scale of these pieces also allows the option of making custom cushions to use on top of the current seats.

All pieces measure 34.5” tall with a 15” seat height. The sofa overall measures 52.25” wide x 33.5” deep with the interior seat width at 42”. The chairs measure 32” wide x 32” deep with an interior seat measurement of 22” wide x 22” deep.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Excellent vintage condition- frames are solid and sturdy. Woven cushion side has one seat that has some compromised rattan. It does not stand out in the overall appearance. Leather side has two missing buttons and two seat punctures. See photos.
