About the Item

Comprising a canapé, two fauteuils, four side chairs and two tabourets, this remarkable suite is finely carved in the Louis XV style and retains its original painted and gilt finish. The frames, delicately adorned with acanthus scrolls and floral motifs, are unified by their time-softened palette of aged cream and gilding. The suite offers exceptional decorative presence, suitable for both formal interiors and curated collector spaces. Preserved in its original upholstery, the suite is offered with the option for bespoke re-covering. Our London showroom provides a tailored in-house service—simply supply your chosen fabric (approx. 14 metres required) and we will complete the suite to your specification.
