About the Item
This Bauhaus style set was produced in the 1930s in Czechoslovakia.
The set consists of a round table, two armchairs (S43F) and two chairs (S43) designed by Mart Stam.
The furniture is made of chrome tubular steel and wood and was manufactured probably by Thonet or one of the other manufacturers under their license (such as Slezak or Mucke Melder).
The wood has been completely restored, the chrome elements have been polished and are in good condition with a visible patina.
