About the Item
An amazing and rare pair of original lounge chairs made in Sweden in the 1940s in the typical Swedish "sportstuga" ("sports-cabin") style. The chairs feature the most charming turned pinewood legs with an amazing patina and grain. They both retain the original hemp webbing in great condition.
The chairs bears resemblance to Scandinavian design from the period such as Bruno Mathsson, Yngve Ekström and other.
