About the Item

Pair of club chairs, fabric, beech, Italy, 1950s Classic pair of lounge chairs being a wonderful example of Italian design from the 1950s. The chairs are bold and curvy, yet very elegant. The seating is characterized by bold, curved lines and shapes that contribute to the chair’s sophisticated appearance. The design has a natural appearance due to off-white fabric and the warm glow of the feet. The chairs rest on short wooden feet that are narrow and conically tapered. The style of this pair is based on simplified lines, absence of decoration and the use of neutral materials that are in great harmony. Additionally, these chairs are designed in the manner of the Italian designer Guglielmo Veronesi. Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This item contains some threadbare upholstery with discoloration. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
