About the Item
This is a pair of Safari Chairs, originally designed by Borge Jensen. These particular examples were produced by Bernstorffsminde Mobelfabrik in Denmark in the 1960s. They are comprised of a teak frame, their original canvas, and newly re-done saddle leather straps. The listed price includes both chairs to be sold together as a pair.
Each chair measures 23 inches deep, 25 inches wide, and 29 inches high with a seat height of 15 inches. The frame and seat do show wear from previous use, but overall these pieces are in good to very good vintage condition. Please see photos.
