About the Item

Maurice Rinck, lounge chair, reddish brown leather, beech, France, 1940s Grand and comfortable club chair in leather upholstery. Truly extraordinary and luxurious chair that features a deep seat and large rounded, curved armrests. The backrests are noteworthy, featuring a subtle yet elegant curves. The squared feet form a striking combination with the rounded chair. Maurice Rinck was a French decorator and a peer of Jean Royere and Jules Leleu. His aesthetics shows trades of Royere in its bulky and rounded shapes. Please note that this set is in used condition. The leather shows patina and signs of wear and use. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized restoration is possible as well.
