Sculptural, Minimalist 1980s sofa by famed Italian designer Paolo Deganello (b. 1940). The sofa is discussed in “Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000,” by G. Gramigna, p. 212 (2003). In 1966 Deganello cofounded the Archizoom Associati in Florence. The collective was named after the British group of architects known as Archigram and the journal “Zoom.” Part of the radical design movement in Italy, Archizoom created anti-design furniture, such as the corner set “Safari” and the “San Remo” palm-frond lamp (both 1968 for Poltronova). After the group ended in the early 1970s, he continued with his private practice as an architect and designer in Milan, with commissions in Italy and abroad.  Our 350 square meter workspace includes a luminous gallery, a restoration atelier where our expert artisans in metalwork, woodwork, upholstery, and electrics; restore each piece with the mission to honor a balance between restoration and preservation. There may be light age-related wear but no hard damages or structural issues.
 Since the launch of our gallery in late 2017, we have exported over 1200 items to buyers in 21 countries located in all four corners of the world from Europe and North America to Asia and Australia. In the United-States alone, we have ensured the delivery of over 150 pieces of all sizes (from massive dining tables to small decorative objects) in 23 states. We take the utmost attention to our packaging by building robust made to measure boxes in our atelier with the aim of providing safe and cost-effective delivery prices for every client.
