Kvadrat’s iconic fabric, Hallingdal, enhances the stylish and contemporary essence of The Fave Chair by NORR11. Originally designed in 1965 by Nanna Ditzel, Hallingdal has become the archetype of woollen textiles and is now available in an updated color scale as Hallingdal 65. This durable upholstery fabric is made from a blend of wool and viscose, with wool providing excellent durability and flexibility, and viscose adding brilliance and depth to the color. Both materials are dyed before spinning, highlighting the fabric's rich texture.
The Fave Chair, inspired by 80s design and reimagined for the present, features a sleek, curved frame in chrome or black steel, and soft, rounded cushions upholstered in Hallingdal. This combination promotes relaxed lounging and adds a touch of elegance to any space. With its blend of time periods and styles, The Fave Chair with Hallingdal fabric stands out, inviting users to sit and linger, making it a stylish and comfortable addition to any room.
