About the Item

The Crossed Legs easy chair was designed by the Belgian Designer Fabiaan Van Severen in 1998. These chairs were manufactured in the designer’s atelier. This edition with black lacquered metal tubular crossed legs and white canvas seat is rare. The chairs are in very good condition, the white canvas is clean and can be washed. They are no longer in production. Fabiaan Van Severen was born in 1957 in Belgium. The trained painter is well-known as designer, he designs furniture, bags and interiors – for his own collection and for clients such as Indera, Wow, Auping or Dietiker. One of his highly regarded interior design projects is Fort Napoleon in Ostende. Van Severen’s works have been awarded the Henri van de Velde Prize and the East Flanders Design Award.
