About the Item
Classic elegant Danish high back armchair from the 1940s by Alfred Christensen for Slagelse Mobelvaerk with open armrests in beautifully carved stained mahogany. Very elegant sculptural silhouette and a bit wider overall compared to the usual Alfred Christensen designs adding to presence and comfort. Solid and sturdy construction and very comfortable. The original fabric is worn and need to be replaced. We are able to re-upholster in lambswool or shearling should you wish or any other fabric you may prefer. Overall very good condition with just minor age wear and patina to the legs and armrests.
