About the Item
Classic elegant Danish high back armchair from the 1940s by Alfred Christensen for Slagelse Mobelvaerk with open armrests in beautifully carved stained beech wood. Nice slim elegant sculptural silhouette with saber shaped legs. Solid and sturdy construction and very comfortable. The carved armrest have been refinished in a satin poly. The chair has been reupholstered at a later point and remain usable condition. We are able to re-upholster in lambswool or shearling should you wish or any other fabric you may prefer at an additional price. Overall very good condition with just minor age wear and patina to the legs and armrests.
