About the Item
Classic elegant Danish high back armchair from the 1940s by Alfred Christensen for Slagelse Mobelvaerk with open armrests in beautifully carved natural beech wood. Nice slim elegant sculptural silhouette with saber shaped legs. Solid and sturdy construction and very comfortable. The carved armrest have been refinished in a satin poly. The chair has been reupholstered at a later point and remain in clean usable condition. We are able to re-upholster iat a very competitive price and can use lambswool or shearling should you wish.
Overall very good condition with just minor age wear and patina to the legs and armrests.
