Danish Art Deco Lounge Chair in Golden Yellow Velvet, 1940s.
Beautiful, cozy and comfortable wingback lounge chair upholstered in golden yellow velour with embossed floral motifs. Feet in dark stained beech, front legs with brass feet.
Wide curved back, spring seat and many beautiful details makes for stylish and comfortable seating.
A classic Danish piece from the 1940s where the furniture design is slowly transitioning from the 1930s Art Deco style to the new Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern style with the longer and thinner legs.
Very good original vintage condition with only light patina consistent with age and use. The original fabric has minimal signs of wear.
