About the Item
The Nordic designers of the early 20th century, specifically the period between the two world wars, created furniture that was perfectly proportioned to the human frame, and built by master cabinetmakers to last generations. This handsome and luxurious lounge chair is an excellent example. The high wing back is upright and supportive, and the seat depth is comfortable for a range of sizes. The frame is narrow enough to feel enclosed, but wide enough to work with a laptop.
We have fully restored this lounge chair, reupholstering it in a curly shearling that is both decadently soft and extremely durable.
