The "Flap" lounge chair, produced in 1975 by BBB, truly lives up to its reputation as "an easy chair with a double life." Designed by De Pas, D'Urbino, and Lomazzi, it consists of a unique combination of a mattress enclosed in a metal frame. With a simple release of two catches that hold the frame’s wings in an upright position, the chair seamlessly transforms into a relaxing lounge chair or a comfortable bed. These chairs show simplicity, motion, and transformation in their form without losing anything on an aesthetic level.
