Modernist easy chair designed by the Dutch designer A. Dolleman for Metz
Co. The chairs show an appealing and surprising design. The tubular metal frame is sleek and are nicely bent into shape. The seat and backseat are made out of a thick brown saddle leather. This perfectly matches with the frame giving it a sense of luxury. The leather and frame have gained beautiful patina over the years, giving the chairs even more character. Overall, the chair is an iconic piece for mid-century Dutch design.
Please note that this item is in good, used condition. The leather shows a strong patina, created over time by use of the piece. In our opinion this adds to the authentic and lived in appearance.

Established in 2006, Morentz has a team of approximately 55 restorers, upholsterers, interior advisers and art historians, making it a gallery, workshop and upholstery studio, all in one. Every day, a carefully selected array of 20th-century furniture arrives from all over the world at the firm’s warehouse, where the team thoroughly examines each piece to determine what, if any, work needs to be done.
