About the Item

Armchair, ash, cane, The Netherlands, 1950s. This elegant armchair features a warm ash wooden frame. Especially the stately high backrest makes this piece of furniture very remarkable. The backrest is furnished with woven cane, and blends nicely with the color of the wooden frame. Two pointed carved 'ears' decorate the backrest and emphasize the majestic appearance of the chair. Multiple spindles are installed to support the construction, as seen between the chairs' legs and underneath the armrests.   Please note that this item is in good, used condition.
