An exquisite restored pair of Throne style lounge or club chairs by Willow and Reed, circa 1955. Exceptionally crafted hardwood and rattan construction with lovely lattice detail. Beautiful finials accent the chair back. Incredible design, execution and quality. Meticulously restored in black lacquer with highlights in gold leaf. Stout, sturdy and extremely comfortable. These unusual examples are consistent with the coveted Pavilion Collection produced by the esteemed Tommi Parzinger for Willow and Reed during the mid-to-late 1950's. Important jewelry intended to anchor an important space. Also available is a matching three-seat sofa from this rare series. The chairs are shipped completely installation ready. The arm height is 21 inches. The height to the top of the back rail is 31 inches. The frame platform is 12 inches. The height listed is per the chair finial. The seat height noted is per the new upholstery. Excellent Restored condition. Professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. All cane accents and lattice detail is intact and complete.
