About the Item

FAB from fabulous refers to the stylish design, typical for the modern times since the beginning of the 20th century. This characteristic round shell-shape inspires designers to make chairs. Thonet and Pierre Paulin made classics with this form and Max Bill created the endless movement. Fabiaan Van Severen designed his variation on this universal idea. White polyethylen in sheet form gets tightened into a shell-shape, kept in form through a minimum white lacquered iron frame. This method creates the correct elasticity for a perfect comfort. Maximum result for a minimum of material and energy (polyethylene is the least polluting synthetic, asks only a little bit of energy for production and is perfectly recyclable). These white chairs are stackable. The seat height is 38 cm. The price is per chair. We have 2 chairs available.
