Pair of lounge chairs, leather, France, 1930s
These lounge chairs embody the stylistic elegance of the Art Deco period, illustrating the refined aesthetic of the 1930s. It resembles the éléphant lounge chair by the master French Art Deco furniture designer, Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann. The frames feature bold, curved lines and rounded edges, lending a sculptural and commanding presence. Their distinctive design allows them to serve as either the centerpiece of a room or a striking focal point. The enveloping shape provides a comfortable, cocoon-like seating experience, making these chairs a perfect addition to a modern interior.

Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier.
