An impressive, rare Danish mid-century wingback lounge chair attributed to Fritz Hansen, model 1672. With a striking wingback form and angular armrests, this c. 1940s chair is an iconic example of early Scandinavian modern design. In button tufted sheepskin upholstery with solid beech wood feet.

A unique sourced piece of design, first exhibited at the renowned "Snedkerlaugets Møbeludstilling", Kunstindustrimuseet, now Design Museum Denmark.

The armchair have been reupholstered professionally in cream coloured shearling and cognac coloured buttons.
