Original 1930s Rattan fan arm living room set featuring a lounge chair and 3 seat sofa with the same fabric as seen in original "Golden Girls" show which ran 1985 till 1992. Harvey Schwartz was the original supplier of the rattan living room set used in all seven seasons of the "Golden Girl". Sofa: 33in. H x 77in. W x 36in. D. Chair: 31in. H x 32in. W x 36in. D. Restored to new for you. Tropical Sun Rattan was started in 1934 at 117 West Colorado Blvd in Pasadena. By 1938 we had showrooms in the Los Angeles and San Francisco furniture marts and have been selling rattan furniture ever since. We moved to the famous Melrose Ave in the 1970s and combined our storefront with Harvey's in West Hollywood. “Harvey literally wrote the book on rattan furniture in 1997.” We buy, refinish and sell vintage rattan and have the biggest stock of vintage rattan in the world! We have a selection of rattan designed by Milo Baughman, Paul Lazlo, Paul Frankl, Shirley Ritts, and Tropical Sun Rattan. Custom cushions C.O.M. (Customers Own Material) are included in the prices. Supply the fabric and we have the cushions made for you. All rattan, bamboo and wicker furniture has been painstakingly refurbished to the highest standards using the best materials. All refinishing is done by rattan workers with over 30 years' experience. Every wrapping and joint has been inspected by “The Rattan Man” Harvey Schwartz. He guarantees you the finest product available for years to come for your home or office.
