Iconic Lounge Chair by Gerald Summers, Design from 1934 - Reedition from 2024
This new edition of Gerald Summers' iconic lounge chair reintroduces the celebrated design from 1933-34, originally produced between 1935 and 1940. The innovative concept, crafted from a single sheet of molded plywood, was conceived for tropical climates, offering a practical solution with its padding-free design to minimize the risk of insect issues. This reimagined version pays homage to the original craftsmanship while incorporating modern enhancements: the chair is now available in a natural oiled finish, as well as stunning black and white oiled versions.
