Pair of lounge chairs, leather, mahogany, Italy, 1960s
This wonderful pair of sturdy and voluminous lounge chairs show nice details and elegant lines. The 'ears' and armrest are beautifully formed. The backrest is tufted for a more classic look and feel. The mahogany wooden frame is a nice open contrast to the closed solid seat. The chairs bear a striking resemblance to the works of Italian designer Gianfranco Frattini.
