About the Item
Very cool set of basketware lounge chairs designed by Janine Abraham and Dirk Jan Rol, manufactured by Rougier, France 1950. The chairs have a very nice dynamic shaped metal frame, black painted. And have a rattan seat, beautifully shaped and finished. The chairs were bought separately but also work good in a pair. These chairs were al hand made and in small productions, so there are always minimal differences when you put them next to each other, but the big lines are equal. Both chairs are in fantastic condition without damages which is unusually for rattan chairs. They look great with a sheepskin in it for example, see last 2 images as inspiration, the sheep skins are not included but can be bought with it if wanted. Very nice and comfortable lounge chairs, priced and sold individually.
