About the Item
A set of three brass slipper chairs blending classical form with modernist purity with a 42" diameter brass and capiz shell tea table distributed by John Stuart, Inc.. originally purchased in the early 1960s.
The klismos style chairs are upholstered in their original white tufted leather set in open-back polished brass frames.
The circular table has a beautiful capiz shell inset top with its original glass overlay which has preserved the shell top.
The set of four pieces are in very good condition.
