Introducing a Danish-made high-back lounge chair with accompanying foot stool. Crafted in the mid-1970's by the lauded Domino Møbler this stylish set is crafted from solid slabs of Burmese teak with exceptional variegated woodgrains throughout. Coated generously in clearcoat and upholstered in a water-resistant polyester blend fabric this set is ideal for porches, sun rooms and patios.
With it's sculpted arms, supportive curved seat and high backrest this lounger set was built for comfort. The matching ottoman only adds to the ability to lounge at maximum capacity. In rare 100% original, vintage condition this set is in excellent shape for it's age and ideal for collectors and designers alike. Able to blend against a multitude of design backdrops from Mid-Century Modern to Contemporary to BOHO Chic and everything in between this lounger chair and ottoman are sure to make a BOLD and inviting impression in any living space. This stylish high-back lounge chair with accompanying foot stool stool set is in 100% original, vintage condition. The solid Burmese teak frame and legs are in very good shape showing only minor signs of vintage wear such as scratches and light nicks (the worst of which can be seen in the detail photos and natural light video provided).
The original polyester, water-resistant fabric shows only minor signs of discoloration and minor stains (again shown in the detail photos provided), but showing no rips, odors or other damage whatsoever. As purists we strive to retain our pieces in as original condition as possible, however we do offer in-house upholstery services. This stately lounger and ottoman set is incredibly comfortable, structurally sound and ready for a literal lifetime more of use.
