LOUNGE CHAIR
Sleek yet broad-shouldered, the lounge chair invites you in with its decisive lines and stark contrasts. Lacquered wood unites with soft leather to create a sublime resting place as well as a visual focal point for any room. Generous armrests provide space for the book your currently just can’t put down as well as your soon forgotten cup of tea or snack plate. Small but deliberate imperfections create visual friction and intrigue: the joints of the chair legs and the back rest are subtly but perceptibly offset, as if shaken out of place by an unnoticed earthquake.
Atelier Ferraro is a design studio based in Munich focused on creating visually enthralling, intuitive objects of design fitted for the modern user. After obtaining a master’s degree, Emanuele Ferraro moved to Germany to work with a series of renowned architecture offices and founded his own design studio in 2019.
His work has since then been selected for several design fairs and exhibitions, the likes of EDIT Naples, Talente Munich and the Salone Satellite in Milan.
His work was featured in AD, ElleDecor, Monocle, Wallpaper, Interni China, Il Mattino, Sight Unseen and Design-Wanted.
His work is currently at the Design Museum Compasso D´oro ADI Milan, in the group exhibition "Italy a new landscape"
