Armchair, LOV Oosterbeek, oak, fabric, Netherlands, 1930s This armchair exemplifies the timeless craftsmanship of the Dutch furniture manufacturer LOV Oosterbeek. Made from solid oak, the chair radiates simplicity, and a clear purpose. All of the hallmarks of LOV’s production philosophy. The design is defined by clean lines and honest construction. The vertical slats in the open armrests add a subtle rhythm to the form, while the gently tapered legs lend a sense of refinement. Both seat and backrest are upholstered in a softly patterned fabric, adding visual texture without overwhelming the design.
