Mid-Century Danish Black Leather Lounge Chairs by Thams, 1960s. Set of 2. Pair of very elegant and stylish easy chairs in soft black leather with round tapering legs in teak. Very comfortable with soft patinated leather cushions with polyester fibre filling on the seat and back. Wide flared armrests and slanted back. This design epitomizes Danish Mid-Century Modern seating with beautiful sleek lines and an almost floating appearance. A classic and timeless design that will suit both Mid-Century and Modern interiors. Attributed to Georg Thams for Vejen Polstermøbelfabrik, Denmark. Very good original vintage condition with only light patina consistent with age and use. Light fading to one armrest, please see photos.
