About the Item

A gorgeous matching pair of lounge chairs by Viko Baumritter, USA, circa 1959. These Mid-Century armchairs have the lean of a lounge chair and the poise to draw attention. The dynamic sheen of the blue vinyl upholstery has an undeniable retro allure. Slanted tubular metal frames have wooden walnut armrests and are capped with classic sliders at the feet. Underside with zig-zag exposed spring base. Frames supporting original upholstered box cushions. Manufactured by American company Viko Baumritter, established in 1932. Measurements: 29 1/2in Tall x 22in Wide x 26in deep (Arm height 24 1/2in) (SEAT HEIGHT 17 1/2in).
